The answer to your question Mr Corbin is no, tobacco should n0t be legal under any circumstances. Tobacco gets you addictive right from the start, which is just sick. If a person tries it once or twice they might do it for the rest of their lives. What if that person wasnt informed of the harms of tobacco, because all the warning says is something about causing harm to pregnant woman. Which is serious, but guys might read that and just make a stupid joke about them not being pregnant and then start smoking. Tobacco is the number 1 preventable cause of death and disease in our country. This should say something to the millions of smokers out there. I realize that many people born in the 60s and earlier did not know the risks of tobacco when they started smoking it, even my dad and mom didnt. Now the tobacco industry is making it alot harder to quit by putting very addictive materials into each cigarette. Sometimes when I'm annoyed with my parents and the amount that they smoke ill print out anything from the list of chemicals in tobacco, or the list of diseases and problems you can get from it and post them all over our house. This doesnt make my parents very happy, but atleast they know what theyre dealing with.
Now there are all kinds of act being put into place where you cannot smoke in a public place, i think this is a great idea and should be enforced everywhere. I always hated going to restuarants and smelling that nasty smoke, i think its much more enjoyable now without the smoking sections, because usually the only things dividing them were just a flimsy two inch wall, which is not effective enough for me.
So in general tobacco should be illegal, but im sure that congress isnt going to pass any act like that at this point in time, but ill be happy the day they do.

To young too be a dad, (and the wrong gender)
1. Guys feel pressure mainly from other guys to have sex. They talk about it everyday. In average men think of sex/women every 7seconds. Also they get it from movies. In the movie/tv business you hear the phrase "sex sells" because nowadays it really does. When guys go to see Transformers theyre not just going to see Optimis Prime, theyre also there to see Megan Fox.
2.Girls are pressured alot less from their friends than guys are. Girls dont care about sex as much as guys do also.
They feel the pressure from their boyfriends mostly. Like i said before, guys think about sex every 7 seconds, so if a girl is with her boyfriend for 2 hours, the guy thought about sex about 1,028 times. They also feel that they have to have sex with their boyfriends to keep their boyfriends interested, which if they have to do that, that guy is stupid.
3.When under the influence of alcohol/drugs girls and guys are more open to do things they usually wouldnt, including sex. The girl might be willing at the time, but its likely she wont remember it that way in the morning.
4.Actively is much better because that way people cant force you into doing anything you do not want to do. When it comes to someone asking you to have sex with them, you need to be able to make your own decision about it, not let the person pressure you into doing it. I make my own decisions, i do not let anyone tell me how to think.

Legalize Drugs, Yes or No?
The drug war in America has been raging on for many years, it is still a problem even though most of the counterculture children are adults now. That generation was looked at like one of the first heavy users of drugs across the nation. Since the 70's people have been trying to get marijuanna legalized all over the world. In some countries it is legal, but it is abundant everywhere. People feel that this drug isnt really a drug, because it is grown in nature, unlike meth and cocaine. Marijuanna is compared to alcohol because people feel they have the same consquences. If alcohol is legal, marijuanna should be also. You hear of thousands of deaths from drunk driving, but you do not hear of many from driving under the influence of marijuanna. Even though alcohol is limited to people over the age of 21 (atleast in the US) there is still many cases of underage drinking. Many people feel that marijuanna is a gateway drug, which in many cases it is. But other drugs like cocaine, meth and heroin are much more serious drugs than marijuanna.
You may become addicted to any of those 3 drugs on your first try, your body literally becomes dependent on them. This is a serious problem also associated with smoking/chewing tobacco. Even though tobacco doesnt for say get you "high" it is still a serious problem. Im sure there are drugs addicts all over the world thinking that if they can get addicted to cigarettes and its legal, they can get addicted to heroin and that should be legal also.
I feel that all the drugs that are illegal now, should stay illegal. Even though i wish it would stay that way, i feel that in my lifetime marijuanna will be legal in certain situations besides just in medicine. I think that alcohol should be considered to be illegal again, just like prohibition. But that caused such an uproar in the countr that im betting it will not happen again.

Environmental Pharmaceutical Pollution Blog
The earth has been contaminated by these sort of chemicals for decades, but it is just recently coming into the lime light. The types of chemicals being released are things like pestisides, flame retardents, personal care products and mostly pharmaceutical materials. In a study taken in 2002 done in bodies of water, mostly in lakes there were %10 ibuprofen, steriods/hormones were also 16% present in the water. This is a dangerous amount for the fish in the water, and the animals who drink out of the water. Also the same study, but now taken on land showed that wild geese are resistant to many perscription drugs because of the contamination.
These medicines are entered when people throw them in the trash, and flush them down the toilet. Waste water treatment centers do not treat medicinal compounds. So this usually gets passed back into water supplies.
A common drug that is put back into the environment is anti depressants. These anti depressants cause unnatural breeding cycles for many animals because it changes the amount of serotonin in their bodies, which regulates their breeding cycle. In humans if even small amounts are found in a pregnant womans bloodstream it maty cause her fetus to grow irregulary and cause many other problems.
So in conclusion these drugs should be managed by informing people on how to dispose of medicine properly and not let them contaminate the environment any further.

Farming of the Future
So over the past 50 years, farming has changed drastically. On dairy farms, you had to milk the cow by hand, leave the milk just in a bottle, and you would have to take it someone right away so it wouldnt go bad. You also probably did not have that many cows on your farm, because it was alot to handle. It was mostly your family working for you too.
Now there are many new ways to make farm work more efficient.
There are machines now that you can hook up to a cow's udder and it will extract the milk from the udder instead of doing it by hand. This saves time because it will suck the milk into a large tank, instead of having the person put it in a small bucket, then having to leave and get new buckets and empty it. This tank also keeps the milk cold, and refridgerated.
I have friend, lets call him Neil Thomas Kruse. He lives on his family's dairy farm. It has been in their family for 3 generations. They sometimes milk the cows by hand, because they have 200, and do not have that many machines. Himself and his brothers have to work on their farm.
All of his 200 cows are girls. They have to artificially inseminate the cows, because they do not own any male cows, aka bulls.
The milk the cows produce, they sell to many dairy companies, so they can pasturize it. But Neil does drink the milk when it is unpasturized, and he says it is much better that way.
They feed the cows hay and grass, which is what all cows eat.
Neil tells me that he has never had a cow with mad cow disease. Which is usually caused when you feed cows the remains of other cows, to save money instead of buying them food.
As you can see, there are many new farmers techniques, and there will be many more in the future. These new techniques

I Love Soy

Soy!Soy milk has been a healthy alternative for people who can not drink real milk from cows, and sow in other products is also an alternative for people who are lactose intolerent . Now there are many people choosing to eat soy products just for the taste alone. Soy is high in protein, because it is made from beans. It also contains much more fiber then milk from a cow. Another benefit of this product is a chemical called isoflavones, which a chemical closely related to estrogen. This hormone prevents things like cancer, heart disease and even more.
Soy does have all those health benefits, so many people think that it is completely low in fat, which it is not. It does have alittle fat then how much is in 2% regular milk from a cow, but it doesnt have nearly as much cholestrol. Another negative aspect of soy is that it doesnt have alot of calcium, which is what cow's milk is high in. Soy has only a quarter of the calcium that cow's milk does. But other ingredients can be added to soy to had calcium to the product.
The cholestrol lowering effect of soy is widely known, but there are certain requirements soy has to meet for this to be true.
It needs to have the following:
6.25g of soy protein
Less than 3g of fat
Less than 1g saturated fat
Less than 20g cholesterol
There are many prodcuts that are made from/out of soy. Calcium fortified milk, tofu, soy nuts, soy patties, soy cheese, soy yogurt, and soy cereal.
Later in the article I read where I got the criteria for lowering cholesterol, it explained that AHANC (American Heart Association Nutrition Commitee) says that they are no longer suggesting that you should eat soy to lower your cholesterol. This is because when you eat high amounts of soy, it only reduces your cholesterol by 3%.
People are going to keep eating soy, because it tastes wonderful. Products like SoyJoy make eating soy as entertaining as eating a candy bar.

Conflict Resolution
There are different steps you can take to solve your problems with other people. Some problems are simple to fix, that can only take minutes to resolve, but others can be more problematic, and take longer to solve. These set of 6 steps can work for either, you could go through them fast, if needed. Or you can take a longer look at each step.
Step 1: Cool off
Problems can not be solved when you are going through many emotions like angry and sadness, so you need to take time to cool off, and also let the other person(s) involved chill too.
Step 2:Tell the person(s) what is bothering you
You need to let the person know what is wrong, by using "I" messages it is easy to let the person know. You could say "I am very upset with you right now because you..."
Step 3:Each person aknowlege that they heard what the other said
Restate what the other person told you so they know that you have heard their side of the story.
Step 4:Take responsibility
You need to understand and accept what your part of the conflict was, and convince yourself and the other party that it will not happen again.
Step 5:Brainstorm solutions
You need to come up with a solution that both parties are okay with. You need to understand the other persons needs and wants in their resolution.
Step 6:Forgive and thank
Let the person know that you have forgiven them for their actions, and they should also admit to forgiving you. Thank the person for resolving the conflict instead of just being angry and not letting it go.
These are the 6 most important steps you can take when solving a conflict. I believe that these steps will come in handy at anytime, with any person. You could be fighthing with a relative, a friend, a coworker or even a stranger. If you use these steps the problem should be resolved and it should show you how not to start the same conflict with another person.

Decision Making Examples
The first decision making steps we learned was the G.R.E.A.T steps. Which was 1. give thought to the problem, 2. review your choices, 3. evaluate the consequences of each choice, 4. assess and choose the best choice, and 5. think it over afterwards. This process helps you decide if a decision you make it the right one for you. If you're not sure of something youre going to do you should go through these steps to make sure.
Another decision making guide is a 7 step guide. The first step is to identify the decision trying to be made. The second step is know yourself, what are you weaknesses and strengths. The third step is identify your options. The fourth step is gather information and data. The fifth step is evaluate options that will solve the problem. The sixth step is select the best option, and the last step, the seventh step is develop a plan of action.
These steps are alitte bit longer than the other ones, but it will work just as well. You have to gather alot more information for these, so this could be a decision making helper for long term goals, instead of short term goals. They are the same because they both help you solve problems, obviously. They are different because the 7 step is longer and it is more for long term goals and/or dreams.
Another set of steps that you could use are called the PLUS decision making steps. The steps are 1. define the problem, 2. identify the alternatives, 3.evaluate the alternatives, 4. make the decisions, 5. implement the decisions, and the last step 6. evaluate the decsion.
These steps are very much like the G.R.E.A.T problem solving steps, because you have to identify your problem right away from the begining. They are also similar because you have to evaluate the decision afterwards and see how it worked out for you, so if you didn't do it right, you will not repeat that mistake.
They are all alike in the sense that you solve problems with them, and they make the decsion making process alot easier. These can help you in any aspect of life.

Marijuana Abuse
When marijuana is smoked it immediatley begins to effect the body. When the drug enters the body the effects last for 1-3 hours. But the main drug in marijuana, THC, stays in the system for 2 weeks to 2 months. It can also be consumed in food and/or drink, but the effects only last on average about an hour. Within minutes after the smoke is inhaled into the body the heart rate increases 20-50 beats per minute. When THC enters the brain the person begins to feel a "high" feeling. It stimulates brain cells to release the chemical dopamine. Heavy users of this drug become impaired in being able to create and/or recall memories. THC also disrupts cordination, balance and reaction time. In the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration research it shows that only a small amount of marijuana in a persons system will impair their driving skills. Combined with alcohol this can be deadly. When a person has marijuana and alcohol in their system it is hard for them to stop drinking because the marijuana stops the feeling of being full and feeling upset in the stomach, so a person can not tell how many drinks they have really had. When a marijuana user smokes and/or chews tobacco also, it makes quiting tobacco that much harder. A study of 450 individuals showed that people who use marijuana on a regular basis, but do not use tobacco, have more problems and miss more days of work and/or school than regular tobacco smokers who do not use marijuana. Marijuana increases the chance of getting cancer in the head or neck, the more marijuana used, the more likely you are to get these cancers. Marijuana smoke contains more than 50-70% more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke does. Many doctors say that the THC in marijuana damages the immune system and makes it harder to fight off diseases and cancer.
